Current workstreams/ committee representation:

National

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ is represented on the GIRFT (get it right first time) Headache pathways for England

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ will be represented on the NICE group reviewing CG150 and the inclusion of candesartan

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ is represented on the National Migraine Audit

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ met with and reviewed the Joint Royal Colleges Ambulance Liaison Committee’s headache guidelines for UK ambulance crews

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ met with NICE and the Migraine Trust to discuss educational sessions for clinicians

The Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ nurses’ group have developed a nursing competency and educational framework for the management of headache disorders which has been endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing


NICE submissions

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ submitted a response to the NICE assessment for atogepant as an acute migraine therapy

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ submitted a response to NICE Consultation | Transvenous embolisation for treating cerebrospinal fluid-venous fistula associated with spontaneous intracranial hypotension


International

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ members have been instrumental in the creation of an International Headache Society Special Interest Group for headache nurses

Ïã½¹ÊÓÆµ members have been instrumental in the creation of an International Headache Society Special Interest Group for GPs
